Vehicle window tinting works by controlling how much sunlight passes through your windows. The film is applied to the inside of the glass, where it can filter light without being exposed to weather, road debris, or car washes.
Tint is designed to manage three things: visible light, heat, and UV radiation. Depending on the shade you choose, the film limits how much visible light enters the cabin. Lower VLT percentages allow less light through, which creates a darker appearance and more privacy.
Beyond appearance, the film also reflects and absorbs infrared heat. This reduces how much solar energy makes it into the vehicle, helping keep interior temperatures lower and reducing strain on your AC system.
The film also blocks UV rays, which are responsible for fading interiors and breaking down materials over time. By stopping most of those rays before they reach your cabin, vehicle window tinting helps preserve your dashboard, seats, and upholstery.
